About The D.R.I.P Way Foundation
The D.R.I.P. Way Foundation, Inc. is the dream and passion of John Franklin III, a Sickle Cell trait carrier, current wide receiver with the Memphis Showboats of the USFL, and a Super-bowl LV champion who played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is a native Floridian, who graduated from South Plantation High School and desires to serve the community by giving back, increasing awareness, providing knowledge resources, and support for Sickle Cell Anemia.
Our Mission is to focus on mentorship of our youth from college age and younger to have a goal, visualize it and form behaviors/strategies to achieve them. To be a leader in the community that focus on creating awareness, providing educational promotion and resources to support Sickle Cell Anemia. Many are unaware of how this disease affects the African American community. Awareness, Education, Screening and Testing will be our goal.
